Configure an X OAuth 2.0 app for PostPeer BYOK.
Callback URL
Add this exact URL to your X app:
https://api.postpeer.dev/v1/connect/twitter/callbackConfigure X
- Create a project and app in the X Developer Portal.
- Open User authentication settings and select Set up.
- Enable OAuth 2.0 and choose Web App as the app type.
- Set the app permissions to Read and write.
- Add the callback URL above under Callback URI / Redirect URL.
- Add your website URL and save the settings.
- Copy the OAuth 2.0 client ID and client secret.
Permissions PostPeer requests
tweet.read tweet.write users.read media.write offline.accessoffline.access is required so PostPeer can refresh the connection without asking the account owner to authorize again.
Finish in PostPeer
Open Integrations → Apps (BYOK) → New app, select X (Twitter), and paste the OAuth 2.0 client ID and client secret. After saving, create a new integration and select this app before choosing X.
